Resolution provides its derivative pricing tools to third-party software developers.

Vancouver, BC, Sept. 15, 2010 — Resolution Financial Software announced the launch of The Resolution Partner Program. This innovative program provides software developers — who build solutions for the financial industry — with a ready-made suite of derivative pricing tools for such instruments as interest rate swaps and foreign exchange options. Resolution has already signed contracts with a number of partners who will be announced in the coming weeks on www.DerivativePricing.com.

Company founder Dr. Greg Anderson says, “We are officially announcing this program due to the amount of requests we’ve received from other software companies looking for off-the-shelf tools for pricing of financial derivatives.” Resolution works with a number of companies that provide everything from corporate treasury solutions to asset management tools.

The Resolution Partner Program includes the Resolution Developer product. In addition, the program allows developers the right to embed the analytics within their own solution, be it a shrink wrapped software product or a software-as-a-service solution. The analytics include tools for the valuation and risk management of interest rate swaps, currency options, fixed income, and commodity and equity derivatives.

The benefits of Resolution Partner Program are two-fold. It allows software developers to lower their development costs and get their products to market faster. Managing Director, Robert Bruce says, “The software developers tell us that Resolution Developer is well documented and easy to use. Their business managers find our licensing terms very flexible and compatible with their own licensing models, which is important when picking a provider of pricing models.”

ResolutionPro - New release 1 November 2005

Resolution has updated our main product ResoltionPro to include a function to calculate Option Adjusted Spread (OAS). The OAS is a standard calculation in many fixed interest markets. Our development focus now turns to the development and release of a Credit Derivatives component.
