Displaying Help
There are various ways to display the Resolution Help Documentation, including:
- Selecting "Programs > Resolution> Help", from the Start menu.
- Selecting "Resolution > Help" from the Excel menu bar.
- Selecting "Help on this function" when entering functions via the Function
Wizard.
Using Help
The Help file contains two methods to get help on a subject or function; the Table of Contents and Search. Both are discussed below.
Table of Contents
The TOC categorizes all the help topics into a file/folder structure. To open a file, simply click on the appropriate topic. If the selected topic has children topics (e.g. the oBS( ) Black Scholes Function topic has five child topics), then these topics are displayed directly underneath. The information for the selected topic is displayed in the screen immediately to the right of the TOC (not shown).
Search
This tab allows the user to search through all topics based on a keyword or set of keywords. The information for the selected topic is displayed in the screen immediately to the right of the search screen (not shown).
If you have been attempting to access the documentation from the old Crighton Anderson Financial Software site then this information is now only available to those that trial or purchase the product.
